Methyl-K

Methyl-K(N-Methyl-1,3-benzodioxolylpentanamine, MBDP, UWA-09, 3,4-methylenedioxy-α-propyl-N-methylphenethylamine) is a stimulant drug, a derivative of 1,3-benzodioxolylpentanamine (BDP; K), which has similar effects.This drug was first synthesized by Alexander Shulgin and described in the book “Phenethylamines I Have Known And Loved”. This drug is a designer prodrug and its toxicological and pharmacological properties are under study.

Studies on rodents have shown that Methyl-K can cause a stimulating effect, uplifting mood and energy, concentration in moderate dosages, as well as euphoria.
