Nifoxipam

Nifoxipam (3-hydroxydesmethylflunitrazepam, DP 370) is a benzodiazepine drug, a derivative of flunitrazepam, with similar effects.  Studies in mice have shown that Nifoxipam affects GABA receptors and causes strong sedative and hypnotic effects. Nifoxipam has lower toxicity than flunitrazepam and lormetazepam.
